Cooperative mines are owned by the miners themselves

All work is done with primitive tools
No power, all done manually
Heading to the hot part inside the mine

Miners normally die of silicosis pneumonia within 10 to 15 years of entering the mines
Miners are proud of their work in such tough conditions
The journey back to the entrance was very difficult!
